Lami's Steam Idle App

Idle Steam games in the background to earn hours and background drops. Connect your account, pick some games, and the app does the rest.

Getting started

Open the app and click QR Code or Password to sign in. QR is the easiest — just scan with your Steam Mobile App. Password login works too, and will ask for your Steam Guard code if needed.

Idling a game

Once connected, you'll see your full game library. Search by name or App ID (e.g. type 730 for CS2), then click a game to start idling.

Pick a duration from the presets — Unlimited, 30m, 1h, 2h, 4h, or 8h. Your last choice is saved and restored the next time you load the page.

Toggle Appear online to control whether Steam shows you as online or offline while idling. This takes effect immediately on the running session.

While idling, Steam sees you as "playing" that game, so you can't play something else at the same time. Best to leave it running overnight or while you're away. Hit Stop anytime to end early.

Profile customization

Your Steam profile background is displayed behind the dashboard. If your background is animated, it plays as a looping video. Static backgrounds are shown as a subtle overlay.

Session persistence

Your login persists for 7 days. If the server restarts, active idling sessions resume automatically — no need to reconnect.

Good to know

• Only one active session per account — re-logging replaces the previous session
• VAC-banned games are marked with a badge in your library
• Press / to jump to the search box
• You can disconnect manually from the profile section
